Around the anniversary of John Lennon's death we must all examine why we can't give peace a chance.
Why do we always choose noise, noise and more noise as the background to our lives? Very few of us can enjoy just sitting quietly and focussing on now. We're all too scared of depressing thoughts entering our brains that take over and we can't control. So we have to have headphones or the television on in what we think of as a boring moment.
Change yourself first then change the world,

Towards the end of the year we all examine what happened that year. Often not much.
So much is put off until we think is the appropriate time.
Now is the best time for everything. Don't put anything off for a rainy day as that day is now.
Just do it.

The supermoon overlooked us this week. The ants looked up and were dwarfed by a mighty ball of light. We became so tiny beside it that you could only look on and marvel.
Ever thought that we are not as great as we think we are? The power is us but is also everything. We are the speck but reaching for the stars.

Standing overlooking battlegrounds always makes people somber and reflective. So many souls died here. But the war graves are kept so beautifully and the souls are always remembered and revered. Being placed in positions where bravery is required in life lifts a person to new heights. You question your life and usually start to pray often for the first time. You can feel a power charge soar through you. You are suddenly no longer alone. Fear of death can be faced together and often overcome.
That's you a new person. You've faced your greatest fear and overcome it.

It's very interesting to question all our fundamental beliefs sometimes. Who in fact is the happiest in this life?
The native in his grass skirt living without electricity and facebook but with a huge smile perpetually on his face. Or us trying to cross a busy road or squashed onto transport trying to always meet a life of deadlines.
We'd always thinks how lucky we are with many comforts - modern houses, water on tap, controlled climates, constant amusement.
Of course it's us. Isn't it?

I'm now at the scene of the Battle of the Coral Sea which is Guadacanal. All those bombs, boats and battles. That is the true definition of living in the now when if you're not fully aware and here your head geta blown off. There's no room and time to spend your day glued to the phone in case you get a call. It's live every second or you're dead.
No time to spend your life walking around in endless circles which most of us do. Life is urgent. It's short and you have much to learn. Go forth and live the experience. You're not here to be totally secure.  Live.

This week was the anniversary of our neighbor's death. She was a circus woman all her life doing contortion and trapeze acts, they even kept monkeys at home for many years. I often have felt her presence and know she is around me. This week it was very strong and she gave me a sign.
An older man was standing next to me in a large crowd. We started talking and it turned out he had lived his early life very close to Em. She always had talked about a man called Graeme who she knew well. Of course this turned out to be Graeme.
He was telling me his life story and I said, "Your name isn't Graeme is it?"
A coincidence or do these ever exist?
